Letters - CMPT wants to hear from YOU! Co-ordinator's email
  Letters to the CMPT Chair or Coordinator concerning Survey results or technical questions may be published in CMPT Connections. Prior to publication authors will be asked if they wish to be identified or if they wish to remain anonymous.
  Letters to the Editor and Guest Editorials are welcomed.
  Your letters on technical tips for clinical microbiology laboratories or interesting microbiology-focused web sites are requested. top
Articles are intended to inspire thought, review, and dialogue.
  Articles are accepted from CMPT participants, members of the medical laboratory profession, medical laboratory educators, and members of related health care professions.
  All technical material is reviewed by the Editor and CMPT Chair prior to acceptance. All submissions are edited for clarity, style, and conciseness in accordance with CMPT Connections format.
  Articles can be anywhere from 500 to 800 words and photographs, illustrations, graphs, tables, and charts are encouraged to complement the article.
  A suggested title should be included and where possible include subheadings to enhance readability.
  All referenced material must be labelled to provide appropriate credit to the originator.
  References should be listed in numerical order in the text and listed at the end of the article.
  The name or names of the authors, their degrees, professionaltitles, and current positions (work place, city, province) are requested.
  Authors may also submit their contact information (e-mail, telephone number, facsimile number) for publication. A photograph (head-shot) of the author is always welcomed.
top Articles may be sent via e-mail or post, preferably in Microsoft Word.
Case Studies
  To enhance and extend the educational material presented by CMPT, Case Studies are encouraged and welcomed, especially from CMPT participants. Regional and geographic variations regarding techniques used and organisms isolated are of interest to all readers.
  Please follow the submission suggestions listed above for Articles.
Meetings / Announcements
  Meetings that focus on Clinical Microbiology will be announced in CMPT Connections if the time-frame fits the Publication deadline (see list below) and on this web site.
  Forward pertinent information (name of meeting, dates, location, contact name) to the Editor.
